Ballester-Molina pistol was developed and produced by the Argentine company Hispano-Argentina Fábrica de Automóviles SA (Hafdasa). The design of the pistol was the work of two Argentine gunsmiths, Regino Ballester and Eugenio Molina, who collaborated on the project in the early 1930s.
