Can Big Corporations Stand in the Way of Government, Economic Growth, and Constitutional Freedoms?

An unorthodox perspective of our Constitutional Small Business

PART I

January 23, 2025

January 20, 2025 marked the historical moment where Donald J Trump became the 47th President.  He achieved this momentous milestone after a societal manhunt. With the division of the country’s citizens, attacks on the First Amendment were clearly a talking point from both party’s supporters.  Censorship of

information and spread of disinformation became a visible threat to our way of life.  The years under the Biden administration quickly became a sprint to survival and security of the United States small business infrastructure and many did not succeed.  We were very fortunate because the past 4 years were especially difficult for our constitutional small business.

During that time, we transitioned from a diverse inventory model to a specialized regulated inventory model.  We pitched ideas for an expansion that could create a multipurpose facility for community/catastrophic event support, educate the region on high demand skills, and employ highly trained veterans and retired heroes while becoming a regional attraction, but big corporations locked it down with legal constrints that small businesses cannot compete, and investors would not even consider us specifically because of our industry.  The real estate still sits empty after 5 years because the original retail giant moved one exit up after it merged.

We passed on an opportunity to invest in the purchase of our current shop because our future as a Constitutional business was uncertain under the previous political climate.  Taxes, regulatory fees, overhead, and insurance made it difficult for banks to consider working with us a labeled our trade as “high risk”.  Financials would be held by some institutions due to the nature of our industry for various lengths of time, which impeded the flow of our business regardless of the decade plus we had been in our local community in the same brick and mortar shop.  Point-of-sale systems would divert a fee onto the customer where it became hard to attract new clients. Through our human skills we were able to get rates that our banker could not match. The Elavon representative is still one of our favorite people who walks through our shop door.

Events would happen throughout the nation where we would focus an advancement projects versus questioning the survival of our company. We ended up raising the bar, but we’ll discuss that in more detail later on.

Our operations team would cycle through inventory from previous management, surpass the company’s historical sales records, and keep our lights on while management navigated uncharted territories to grow organically.

Management would focus on building distribution relationships and constructing a truly impressive Regulated Small Business Platform without incurring any new debt.

This week we were supposed to launch a massive email marketing campaign in celebration of our 47th President, and exponentially superseding our goals under the corruption of our previous administration.  That did not happen; instead, our 20,000+ item inventory shopping experience became a brand pathologically committed to the Constitutional Freedoms of Our Country without ANY strongarm tactics.
